History
Sievers was founded in 1957 by James F. Sievers, Sr. In 1980, Sievers Security began installing the first security systems on the market, and established our own Central Station for monitoring calls from our growing customer base. We have gradually added products and services over the years, and have grown into a full-service company ready to meet all of your security, fire, surveillance, access and medical alarm needs. Furthermore, our company is fully bonded, insured and members of the Better Business Bureau.

Jim Sievers, Jr. joined Sievers Security in 1974 and is responsible for technical sales in security, fire, card access and digital telephone systems.Jim's credentials include:
- Graduated with top honors in Electronics from United Electronics Institute
- Electrical Contractor License
- State Fire Marshall License
- FCC license
- Current president of the Painsville Chamber of Commerce
Mike Sievers joined Sievers Security in 1977 and is responsible for business operations and office administration at Sievers Security.
Mike's credentials include:
- BBA degree in Business from Ohio University
- Member of Ohio Burglar and Fire Alarm Association
- Member of National Fire Protection Association
- Trustee of Collinwood & Nottingham Villages Development Corporation
- Member of North Eastern Ohio Fire Prevention Association
Robert Sievers joined Sievers Security in 1980 and is responsible for business operations and for sales in Security, Fire, CCTV, and Card Access systems.
Robert's credentials include:
- BBA degree in Business from Cleveland State University
- Member of Ohio Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (OBFAA)
- Member of Willoughby Area Chamber of Commerce
- Member of National Fire Protection Association
Amy Sievers joined Sievers Security in 1980. Amy is the office manager, her responsibilities include:
- All day to day operations of the company
- Managing all staff including Central Monitoring Station representatives, office personnel and installation crews
- Administrator of Drug Free Workplace Policy and Transitional Work Program
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Human Resources
- 401(k) Plan Administration
- Health Insurance Administration
- Background Checks
- Member of the Lake County Safety Council
Employee Screening & Training
At Sievers Security, our people make the difference. We have over 35 full time employees whose Number One goal is your safety and satisfaction.Prior to hiring, all employees undergo a complete background check including criminal history and driving record history. Furthermore, all employees are drug tested prior to as well as during their employment with Sievers Security.
Our staff is on call day and night to ensure that your systems are operational at all times. Our Service Technicians receive the latest training from the manufacturers of the products we sell in order to offer you the best service available. On the commercial side, all of our Installers and Service Technicians are licensed with the State Fire Marshall.
